About Conwy Trees

Jim Pennington and Karen Smalley own Conwy Trees.

Jim, the Managing Director, previously worked in internet management for over 7 years across multiple sectors. He recently spent four years in the web team of the Woodland Trust, the UK's largest charity dedicated to protecting the UK's native woodland heritage, where his love of nature and trees was further nurtured. Jim is responsible for developing new opportunities for the business and for marketing.

Karen is the Director of Operations here at Conwy Trees. Karen also worked for the Woodland Trust for over 4 years after spending 5 years in Senior Management in the retail sector. The day to day management of the business and the accounts are taken care of by Karen.

Through our website Conwytrees.com we offer both the public and the professional a significant range of quality cell grown sapling trees including a great selection of native species raised from seed collected throughout the UK.

We offer single trees or various multi-packs or, for larger tree planting projects, we offer packs which contain up to 150 trees. We also have the facility to handle much larger orders and contract growing if required, so please contact us if you would like us to quote for you.

Through this website we also offer an excellent variety of hedging plants, shrubs, a selection of reeds for ponds and some wonderful wildflowers all of which are delivered directly to your door.

We also are privileged to be able to offer some extremely rare Welsh fruit trees from our friend Ian Sturrock, the man responsible for keeping these rare species going in North Wales.

Our aim is simple, to run a low-impact business whilst encouraging nature into gardens and workplaces by providing quality trees, hedging, shrubs, reeds and wildflowers at excellent prices using the internet.

Conwy Trees is a small North Wales business and we care passionately about what we do. The service you receive from us should be excellent and the quality of our products should be the same.

As we grow, regardless of our planning, things may go wrong. We will make mistakes here and there. If that happens and you are not satisfied with us, we want to know. We plan to learn from everything we do right and do wrong along the way.
