In the UK we are lucky to live in such a flower-rich part of the world. Our mild climate is ideal for a rich diverse number of beautiful flowers to thrive.

Attractive though many of them may be, flowers are not produced with attracting the human eye in mind - they are basically there for practical reproductive reasons, to maximise the chances of successful fertilisation.
